LEDs Flickering

What to do if the LED lights on your board are flickering

An electrically noisy environment or power source can cause the touch sensing system to become activated and randomly turn on lights as if a piece is being touched.

  • Does this only happen when your ChessUp 2 is plugged into an outlet?
    • If the answer is yes, the outlet can introduce noise into the system. Try a different outlet, try a different power adapter, or actually add a power conditioner (power filter) in between the power supply and the outlet.
    • If the answer is no, then the noise may be due to an electrically noisy light or other electrical equipment. Try a different room in the house.

Note: If the LED flickering happens with your ChessUp 2 board unplugged in every room of your house, it could be a different issue. Please contact customer service at info@bryghtlabs.com.

When contacting customer service, please include a video of the issue to help facilitate the troubleshooting process.
