Chess.com Login
To log in to your Chess.com account, you'll first need the ChessUp app. You can download this on a phone or a tablet through the iOS App Store or the Android Play store. You will also need a Chess.com account. If you do not already have an account, go to Chess.com to create an account before proceeding to the steps below.
- Turn on your ChessUp 2 board.
- From the Home screen, select the "Chess.com" option. A screen will appear asking you to sign in. Stay on this page.
- Launch the ChessUp app on your phone or tablet and accept the data privacy notification. (This will only show if it's your first time launching the app.)
- You can log in, create an account, or continue as a guest.
- Allow the app access to Bluetooth connectivity. This will allow your phone to connect to the ChessUp 2 board.
- After a few seconds, the app will connect to the board and automatically bring up the Chess.com sign in page.
- Now you can enter your Chess.com username and password.
- Make sure you have the "Remember Me" checkbox checked and press "Log In."
- Approve access to your Chess.com account.
- The sign-in process can take a few moments.
- Once you see the Chess.com screen on your ChessUp 2, you're all set!
- You can close the app and continue on your ChessUp 2.
Note: You will remain signed in to your Chess.com account every time you turn on your ChessUp 2. If you do not turn on your board for a long period of time, you may be asked to sign in again. If you'd like to sign out, see this article: Signing Out of chess.com and Lichess
