Save and Resume Games

With ChessUp, you can save and resume any Two-Player over-the-board games and Built-In Bot games.

Note: You can only save one in-progress game at a time. Your ChessUp will save one in-progress game of each game type at a time. If you have a saved in-progress Bot game, and you start a new Bot game you want to save in the middle, it will overwrite your other saved Bot game. These saved games are only for in-progress games. This does not affect your completed saved games.

Let's save a game for later

To save a game for later, press the back arrow (found in the upper left corner of the game screen) during an active game. You can then turn off your ChessUp or just walk away for a few minutes.
When you want to resume that saved game, press the game type from the home screen (Two-Player or Bot).
Next, a new window will appear showing 3 options.

Resume - continue the saved game where you left off.
New - start a new game. This does not delete the saved game, unless you try to save another in-progress game. If you choose this option, this window will appear again the next time you go to start another game.
Delete - this will delete the saved game. That saved game will not be recoverable.
